Todays Rambles

So yesterday I started training for a half marathon I will be running at the end of April/beginning of May (haven't decided which race yet). I've always been more of a runner than any other aerobic activity. When I was little and my half-sister would ride her bike I would run next to her (I still hate bike riding lol).  Haven't been running in a while because running always makes me knee issues resurface so I've been trying to avoid it. So once the decision came that I was going to do 13.1 I got myself over to Road Runner Sports to get a good running shoe. I ended up getting these bad boys with some custom insoles (like pillows for my gorgeous feet :D)

Brooks Launch 2.0 neutral light running sneaker.

If you are looking for a shoe that isn't super heavy but you don't feel like you are running barefoot and can feel the ground... you NEED these in your life. I ran 3.12 miles with no troubles at all (well besides running in 19 degrees)

After my run my Nana and I went to see Still Alice at the movies. About a 50 year old woman who is diagnosed with early set Alzheimers.

It got me thinking...If I had to choose what I would want to lose my memory would be the LAST thing. Memories are something I hold close to me. Its how I look back at my past and how I decide on my future.

Insight of the day: Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory... Value and Treasure EVERY moment

XO
